About the Forum

The St. Petersburg International Automotive Forum AutoInvest is a significant industry event that plays an important role in the Russian automotive industry development.

The development of the local automotive industry remains one of the priorities of state policy. Thus, during a visit to the AvtoVAZ plant in January 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that by the time foreign automakers left, Russia had already reached the required level of the local industry development. The head of state also promised to support the Russian automotive manufactures.

Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin held a strategic session in June, where he emphasized:

"To strengthen technological sovereignty, it is important to expand industrial capacity, increase the production of local vehicles. And in general, continue to form a modern ecosystem around the automotive sector."
